HealthWi$e is a project funded by USDA Food Stamp Nutrition Education. We partner with federal, state, city, and county agencies to bring hands-on nutrition education lessons for food stamp eligible adults. HealthWI$e educators teach a series of lessons on nutrition, cooking, and food budgeting, increasing knowledge to make sound, healthy choices with their food dollars. We conduct nutrition and cooking lessons at food banks, Beacon Senior Centers for parents of children enrolled in ECEAP in Sumner and Buckley, and parents at schools in The Tacoma & Clover Park School District.
