Washington State University Extension Pierce County Agriculture Program is involved in educational support and field-based research to improve the sustainability of regional commercial producers. This web site is a starting point resource for these producers. All aspects of production and marketing are included within this web site.

Current research projects include the evaluation of alternative fodder and forage crops for livestock production, the development of a no-till vegetable production system, and the evaluation of new cover crops for Western Washington.
